HACKER Q&A

Have you worked or collaborated with anyone from HackerNews?

Have you ever worked or collaborated with someone from here, whether you found them through the official "Who is hiring / Who wants to be hired" threads, "What are you working on?", "Show HN", or other general discussion threads?

How did the collaboration go? How long did it last, how satisfied were you with the experience, and did you make any valuable connections that you might collaborate with again in the future?

Based on those experiences, what kind of impression have you formed of the HackerNews community? What types of developers and entrepreneurs seem to be the most common on HN?

I've exchanged a few messages with a mathematician before. We did a small project together, but then contact was lost.. probably due to circumstances on their side. I miss them.

Other than that, I've contributed a few bug fixes to projects from people I met through various posts. The collaboration periods were about two weeks and a month, maybe? Most of them were good people, but we mostly only talked about technical stuff. Whether it was because of my programming skills or something else, the connections never really lasted long.
