Chances of an indie app getting App Store spotlight

Inspired by flighty. Love the all just found out it&rsquo;s a super small team. Is do able or just an outlier? They didn&rsquo;t spend any money on a marketing.

There's about 2 million apps so fundamentally all of the featured ones are outliers.Flighty is created by an ex-Apple employee, has surely paid millions in IAP fees, and probably spends a million bucks a year on ads, lot of reasons for Apple to take notice.
