Is there a backup / mirror URL for github.com?

So when I go to any source repo or topic page on github.com, I get a "Too many requests: You have exceeded a secondary rate limit." message. I'm pretty sure I've only been sending a few requests from my web browser (i.e. - haven't touched the git command from the command line in 24 hours.)

Is there an alternate or mirror URL I can go to to access github.com repos via the web interface?

I'm not on a VPN, so I don't think it's limiting by way of AS number. I do have a google cookie set since I'm logged into gmail. But I don't use Azure or HotMail or Outlook, so I don't have a MSFT cookie set. Am I supposed to have a microsoft account to READ github.com?

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

I'm sort of afraid to hit their systems via git on the command line for fear they'll blackhole my IP address. IPFix shows only my requests leaving my network bound for github's web server or GITHU AS.

Nevermind. Found the mirror for the repo I was looking for. But I'm still getting the error from github. If no one else is seeing this message, maybe they're operating close to limits and I'm just the unlucky one today.

Maybe it's a useful data point for MSFT SREs.
