Similar plot thread might be the current use-case of "anonymous entities" betting on Polymarket for things that are happening in the real world to generate/launder money.

If that world had a chip that could hack into anything and trigger nuclear war... then within a matter of another year that chip would exist again and again and again in many countries.Everyone's dead. Sequel is pretty quick.
