Redis V8 vs. competition? (Valkey, Dragonfly, etc.)

Question

I cannot find any up to date resources that would document how does Redis v8 performance compare to the likes of Valkey and Dragonfly.I was wondering if anyone did any independent benchmarks?

Redis can change again at any time. Then at least we get to use Valkey.
Like Vmware and Oracle, we never know what is going dark or not.
So unless you are creating a product in a company where you need support, I would go Valkey.
But why benchmark it against Valkey? Are they not the same?
