Will Grok win as it will eventually train on data from Optimus androids?

Grok’s competitors currently don’t have functional androids to gather data from.

Any reason for assuming that data contains some magical Elixir of Intelligence, which isn't available anywhere else?

Grok will lose because they won’t have any customers

Well, that's assuming that Optimus is going anywhere. I think there are good reasons to be skeptical of that.

"The Limiting Factor" had an interesting take: Elon Musk's ability to deploy resources gives Grok a competitive advantage. YT vid goes over the challenges in getting Colossus up (200k GPU) and their deployment of Colossus 2, a 3-gigawatt facility with one million GPUs.

Grok will win because the Boring company will find the mole people's secret underground lair where they keep a record of all human knowledge as well as socks that have gone missing from the dryer.

I'm sure they'll come out with agent software for things like unitree's android. Personally I think androids are a complete waste of effort and money. They're incredibly expensive both to manufacture and maintain, impossible to make safe, difficult to control, and absolutely drink power just standing.

Putting a low DOF arm on a roomba just doesn't sell as well to investors though so you keep hearing about them.
