It works fine if I am driving, so what is so hard about it?
I have the inverse problem. Sometimes I want to take a taxi [1] and I wish the app suggest to walk 50 meters to the next intersection to avoid a long detour. The other day I had to make a small trip to "1190 X Street" that is a one way street. Changing the address to "1210 X Street" saved me like 5 minutes in exchange of walking 20 meters (20 yards). The other street that intersect X at 1200 has almost no transit and is faster.
[1] Hi from Buenos Aires! Here you can usually just walk to the street and get a taxi in 1 or 2 minutes. Probably like in Manhattan, perhaps better. It's faster than waiting for a Uber. Warning: Most taxi drivers are nice, but some of them if you look like a foreigner they may take a longer route to scam you.
