I'm on Deno's side for this, of course, but also kind of annoyed by it.

What are the chances Oracle starts attacking everyone using the "JavaScript" trademark?

Probably pretty decent chances, especially the more it's pushed. Remember, Ellison is a lawnmower[1]. Ellison is a pretty competitive guy who wants to win at any cost.

But then, the name of JavaScript gets changed and we move on.
