What's your recommended website accessibility tool?

I'm looking to enhance my website's accessibility and make it more inclusive for all users. I'd love to hear from the HN community about your experiences with different accessibility tools . I've been researching options like WAVE, axe DevTools, and accessiBe, but I'm curious about real-world experiences and any lesser-known tools worth considering.

Some questions I have:

- What's your go-to tool for evaluating and improving website accessibility?

- For those who have used multiple tools, how do they compare?

- How has it helped you identify and fix accessibility issues? Why and why not?

- What challenges have you faced while implementing accessibility improvements?

- Are these tools worth the investment?

Any insights, recommendations, or cautionary tales would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge!

I've used Microsoft's https://accessibilityinsights.io/

It was easy and free and helped us fix much of our accessibility issues.

We also paid a lot of money for an external accessibility consultant who presented us with a long word doc with most of the same issues as the plug-in. I'd probably just use the plug-in next time.
