How to find non-summer internships?

Hello HN!I attend a Canadian school that requires students to complete 5-6 internships as a graduation requirement. When our work terms fall during the summer this is quite straightforward&mdash;the campus job board, LinkedIn, and company websites all have open postings.But sometimes we're required to find Fall (Sep - Dec) or Winter (Jan - Apr) internships. Few Canadian/American companies hire interns for those times, especially with the current economy. Are there any other places I should be looking?

Have you tried searching for YC intern positions with a logged in account [1]? Also, the next Who's Hiring thread [2] will be along shortly (21 hours from this comment), keep an eye out for it for any potential intern roles offered in your area or remotely.
