How to get meetings with founders in SF?

I'm participating on Aalto Entrepreneurship Society learning trip to SF. We are a Finnish student-run society for the brightest aspiring founders from Aalto University. I'm tasked with finding interesting founders to arrange short 30-60 min meetings with. Our goal is to learn from experiences, benchmark our ecosystem, and build connections. Sending cold emails has been my main method so far and I'm looking for ways to make this process more efficient. Would you have suggestions for a "backdoor" approach to this?

Our trip to SF takes place between 11/29 — 12/10. If you're a founder based there and wish to meet us and/or help out with reaching the network, we'd be very happy! Our entrepreneurship society is quite unique at a global scale in that it is completely student-run and a birth-place for many Finnish startups and initiatives such as the Slush event.

Hi there -- I'm happy to connect with you! I have been a startup attorney for many years, and started a few of my own companies along the way. I also participate in an MIT-sponsored entrepreneurship program where I advise new startups as they build their businesses.
