How much would you charge to build a Hacker News clone?
You are tasked with building a Hacker news clone with certain other distinct features. How much would you personally charge?
I'd just ask an AI to code it up. Forums are easy to implement. Or just download one of the popular forum softwares.
The value of HN is in the users, not the software. I'd doubt very much you could establish the kind of crowd that visits here.

I wouldn't bid without a discovery session and clearly defined scope and granular requirements.
20k developed and configured. 150usd/hour for maintenance/scaling.
How much would you be willing to build it for if it was open sourced but you would be paid for ongoing maintenance and feature enhancements?
