Are there any archiver software able to keep working after reboot?
Inspired by 200TB of proof compressed to few tens of GB which needs 30k hours of CPU time. I can build that big NAS but can not be sure I have so much time with no reboots. Actually I have such obstructions with archives several orders of magnitude less of size.
Can the software resume after being restarted? If yes, the problem then becomes launching the software at boot, whether as a service or using things like supervisor.[0]
