Anyone recently experience slowness on Google sites when using Firefox?

In the past few weeks, I've noticed that many of the google sites--Search, Gmail, Maps, Drive, Photos--have been frustratingly slow for me. I use Firefox on Mac OS. The pages take about a minute to load, and then it freezes again every few key strokes. It's practically unusable. But I really don't want to switch to Chrome. I can load and view others non-google sites without issues.

(Not) surprisingly, Youtube works well for me still, but I pay for Premium.

Anyone else seeing this?
