Edge Computing and Physical Security?

When using Cloudflare's developer products like Workers, KV, and R2 there doesn't seem to be a way to control where your Worker functions are executed and where your KV/R2 data is stored. Cloudflare has Edges in many shady countries. I remember a documentary from the 2000s where journalists paid some Indian tech workers to get them data on Western customers. They simply physically entered the server room and got the data. Now because of Edge computing there are many more physical security weaknesses like this.
