How to publically archive data like images of miscellaneous things?

I've recently taken to scanning documents and images of things that I can see someone wanting to find for minor historical purposes. Nothing critically important, but some of the images are things like old conference badges and old marketing material.

What's the best way for me to host these images and documents so they can easily be found and searched by others in the future? I'd love a world where even an esoteric search like 'TooManyGames expo 2019 3 day pass badge' returns what someone would be looking for.

Is this the kind of thing I should upload the the Internet Archive, or host on a personal site somewhere? If there are any tips to optimize for cost and longevity, that would be fantastic as well.
