Ok guys, serious talk.

I want to make a cool product that really helps people. Not one of those bullshit AI apps that makes you gain 0.1 second of productivity in your life.

What problem do you wish you could just make disappear?

Can you fix the oh-so-slow driver problem? My fantasy (especially when stuck behind one of 'em) is an AI traffic control system, which notices the ones who just can't seem to find the gas pedal, and penalizes 'em appropriately. (Long red lights when no normal driver is stuck waiting with them. Secretary of State flags them for vision tests. Higher taxes, to pay for the extra road capacity needed because of their driving habits.)

After that - maybe As A Service pothole repair? Real-time data from $Handwave (smartphones running the Waze app, or whatever) says there's a new pothole developing at $Location, and a PotFix repair truck is dispatched to nip it in the bud. The city pays for the fix at some voter-visible rate. Meanwhile, the PotFix Marketing Dept. can use FOIA requests to show voters in nearby cities how much more they're currently paying, for their cities' sclerotic and indifferent Maintenance Dept's to fix potholes. In 10X the time. And those voters can easily test-drive the PotFix service, in the city that's already using it.
