I don’t think you ask the right question. Instead of “Which companies hire remotely?” ask “How do I get a company to hire me and not care where I live?” For the right person most companies will figure out some way to hire, they just have to want you enough to do the extra work.
Most countries have labor and immigration laws that require exhausting local talent before hiring foreigners. That means you need skills and experience they can’t find locally.
American companies tend to pay the most and the US has lots of companies that might hire. I find freelancing remotely for American companies the sweet spot. Best rates, no language or cultural disconnects.
