What's the best email "Strategy"? (Provider, aliasing,domains)

For i while i was thinking about restructuring my entire email strategy by using a private provider to host my email and using a different email for every provider by acquiring a domain.

Let me explain. Instead of using qwerty@gmail.com for Facebook and Instagram the strategy would be to buy the "querty.com" domain and use Facebook@querty.com and Instagram@querty.com as emails to reduce spam and isolate my emails. If i ever recive spam from a source i can just remove the account and close that email.

Is this a viable strategy to compartimelize emails and reduce the amount of spam i recive?

I know that Apple offers email aliasing but i don't really like the random strings of numbers, a domain may be a better choice because because it gives me control over where i host my emails.

Any suggestions about this plan?
