Have You Used a Zone Files Service?


I am wanting to create a zonefile service that is really good. Does anyone have experience in being a customer of any zonefile services and are looking for any critical features? Plmk :)

Examples are CZDS, zonefiles.info, etc.

For CZDS, they have traditionally asked for a never-changing, static IP address. Presumably to be placed in a whitelist for FTP access. That is arguably an unreasonable requirement given that most internet subscribers have dynamic IP addresses. There should at least be a way to update the address on file if it changes.

What is zonefiles.info. Nothing in Internet Archive. Expired. NXDOMAIN.
