Why isn't AI used to remove actor skin imperfections in movies/shows?

Isn't this possible to do with today's AI tech?

Because they've been using not AI to do this since for a very long time

Also makeup is kind of standard. If an actor looks a certain way on camera then that is on purpose.

They do stuff like this, I'm not sure exactly what they use - it could be AI or manual or a combination of both. Have a look at Tom Cruise in the latest Mission Impossible and compare that to how he looks in reality. There was an Indian movie, I forget the name, but the deaging and skin imperfection removal of the lead actor was really egregious.
