Do Freelancers Dislike Client Management?

Hi Hacker News,

I have a hunch that many freelancers dislike the client management aspects of their work, such as briefing, communication back and forth, and invoicing. Instead, they would prefer to focus on the creative parts of their job.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Is this a widespread issue? How significant is it? How are freelancers currently dealing with these challenges?
