Why keep my posts to HN being removed?

I'm just curious why around 4 of my last posts were removed a few seconds after they entered the new posts page?

This one for example: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40861370

I cannot find it any longer.

I reasonable explanation would be good enough for me.

Thanks.

Generally speaking, this is not the place to discuss amateur medical takes. Not only is it a bad idea a-la offering financial advice, but nobody on this site is guaranteed to be qualified to know if this is a right or wrong post. There could be a thousand comments on the submission before a single qualified person comes in to say it's all hogwash. In general it's just not worth the risk associated with this sort of topic. I tend to flag most health-related submissions that are not written by a qualified medical professional.

I'm not sure why it's being autoflagged (maybe just because it's from Medium), but this is the sort of content that would probably end up flagged manually anyways. Sorry.

Thanks for the answers. I'm directly involved with mental issue mentioned on the post, and seeing no good approaches from the current research on the topic during the last 20+ years I'm finally deciding to do some research on the topi, both from the perspective of the sufferer (which bring a lot of reevant info to the debate) and as someone curious by science that uses all the means he has avaiable to him to try to make some progress on the understanding of the disease.

This problem is serious, has killed millions around the world and the ones that survive live a miserable life due to the seide effects of the exisiting medications.

My proposed mechanism is just an amateur analysis but I do think it should be taken serious because its coming from someone who knows the ins and outs of the disease and not from some theoretically point of view.

Also not sure why I was suddenly shadowbanned since I've been a part of HN since around 2008 and that never had happened to me. At least let the reades judge the quality of the posts for themselves.

Anyway, thank you all that took your time to provide these potential explanations I really appreciate that.

They've probably been "flagged" by community members (or bots, who knows)

If you go to your profile (https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=alexandregomes), you can turn on "showdead: yes" and see dead posts that way.

Other users can "vouch" for flagged posts, but I guess nobody did for yours.

The FAQ explains how that all works: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html

Maybe they don't fit the guidelines?

Serious answer is: emailing the admins/mods will get you a better response than a bunch of us guessing.:

A quick skim of the posts on that account shows they're all pointing to your Medium blog:

See also from the FAQ: "Please don't use HN primarily for promotion"

Also probably not a good idea from a "following the rules" perspective: making a SECOND account that posts links to the same blog and makes this complaint. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
