How can I improve my email signup conversion?

The main issue seems to be that the current signup doesn't offer targeted job alerts. Consider allowing users to filter jobs first, then offer a "Save this search". This way, users know they'll get relevant jobs instead of everything.

You need to reverse perspective - don't assume people will sign up and then ask "Why not?" Instead, assume you are one of a thousand ways people are trying to get us to sign up for something today, and ask yourself what is truly unique that makes you stand out from the pack.

If you think about it that way, you'll see that what you have right now is just another jobs site. A dime a dozen. Make something new, then expect signups.

There's no explanation as to why someone should sign up. Maybe mention that most of the jobs get filled within 3 days or something like that.
