Would you quit your job because of the business domain?

Question

I like the product the company I work for is building, but I hate the area/domain in which I&rsquo;m working. It&rsquo;s certainly the most complex area in the company, and they hire more engineers precisely to work on it. When I did the interview it didn&rsquo;t sound that bad, but it&rsquo;s just painful to work with because the business domain is complex and so the codebases reflect such complexity.Everything else (people, management, etc.) seems fine, so I&rsquo;m unsure whether I should just quit and try to find something better. I&rsquo;m not concerned with the state of the market at the moment (I always manage to find something), but I have never quit before because I disliked something (I have always quit in good terms, always with a positive feeling )

I, personally, believe that if, and when, there's a visible potential of the aforementioned discontent extending further in scale and duration, you prolly should switch to anything more appealing ASAP since you wouldn't want to disrupt your professional connections and experience. Unless the former is the case, you're gonna either overcome the angst and succeed in the job (maybe) or continue afloat where you currently are without any dynamics. Choose whatever suits your brightest future best, and good luck with navigating through your troubled waters most successfully.
