Has remote meetings changed who does well

For meetings, I like sitting in a room, (preferably a pub but beggars and choosers), and being able to see and hear real people - to get immediate feedback on how my words - the lack of audio and visual feedback (or worse the latency) makes it harder for me to form the next thought

Yet some people don’t seem to mind - either they are not making it up as they go or they are not saying new thoughts.

Either way I tend to stumble on calls and zooms - whereas I generally work much better with a room

I have noticed that the “players” at my work are changing slightly based on what I would call “phone manner”

Anyone else?
