What are the most common backup issues?

Im actually curious in what do you guys think about industry at this point.Which tools do you use to create and rotate backups of your databases? Is there anything you miss in these tools or some of them are overloaded with extra features you don't find useful?

Too many people don&rsquo;t have a real backup at all.For backing up Unix machines I like to rsync the whole machine to a machine with ZFS snapshots. Borgbackup is also a tool I&rsquo;ve used and a lot of people like.Test your backups.
