Good Resources for UX/UI

I'm designing my first proper application and I want to get it right as best I can. I'm looking for good sources for UI and UX.

I'm looking at Don't make me think by Steve Krug for simple self-explanatory UI design.

I'm looking for a good information source on, and I don't know what the term or if there is one, for designing how a user moves through the application. Is that a thing?

Obviously any suggestions for other good sources to look at would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd consider diving into A/B testing. For UX/UI designers, it will literally help your products generate additional revenue.

You can read this comprehensive guide on A/B Testing by Tony Hancock - https://medium.com/@ashancock/the-art-of-the-a-b-test-statis...

I would suggest these books.

* Design for Developers by Stephanie Stimac https://www.manning.com/books/design-for-developers

* Refactoring UI https://www.refactoringui.com/

I recomend the (somewhat old) blog of Joel Spolsky https://www.joelonsoftware.com/ click on "software designer" near the bottom to read a list of selectrd articles.

Whatever you do it will be wrong first time. Make sure your solution is flexible.
