Resources about software engineering and architecture

Hi everyone,

I'm at a point where I feel like I have a pretty good handle on coding on my day to day job (backend dev mostly).

I feel like I'm hitting at wall about getting better at handling larger projects, seeing the engineering patterns and overall architecture of a project though and that I sometimes code myself into corner when left to my own device.

So, I'm looking for resources to improve with those requirements if possible.

- Starts from business requirements or from a large refactoring and works into correcting and improving the structure and design of the project.

- Leans into modern practices with explanations of the how and why. I'm expecting to see TDD in there for the design part for example but it doesn't have to be.

I'm not looking for resources about common design patterns with basic examples but rather something very involved that'll force me to also make my own decisions (with guidance).

Thanks!
