It’s my first time in the US and I'm looking to find an affordable room to stay where the action is happening in SF. I’m hoping to find a space to stay at before I get there and an alternative to Airbnb, the prices seem pretty steep there.

I like the idea of exchanging help, I'm a full stack dev and have experience in building web app and mobile apps. If you have an idea that you want to build an MVP or a small tool, I can build it in exchange for a place to stay for 3 months. This is just an idea but ofc the typical approach, I'm happy just to pay rent and make friends :)
