ChatGPT has become unusably slow – just me or others too?

Finally I have switched to Google Gemini for no other reason than it works and ChatGPT doesn't - it's too slow.

If anything I’ve noticed it’s faster than it used to be. I figured it had to do with optimizing the latest model checkpoints or the switch to gpt-4o or something. Definitely not slower for me though.

I have not had issues with speed since the initial release of GPT-4 way back in March 2023. I am located near NYC so perhaps location has some sway

GPT-4o is pretty fast, especially with the desktop app that lets you use option-space to just start talking to it.

The new o model is really fast

I'm paying Raycast Pro again and its pretty nice inside there!
