Is Search Engines Broken?


I am asking this to get a wider perspective and make sure it isn't my personal biases.

Do you feel like about all major search engines, including product's internal search (LinkedIn, Facebook) are mostly broken?

It seems like you can rarely find something unless you know the exact unique name, or you're not looking for a specific result.

Anyone else has similar experience?

Its an race between the search engine that needs to provide relative good results and SEO scammers who want their content clicked even if its unrelated to the search of the user.
