Can Face ID hardware make buying properly fitting glasses online easier?
Maybe Apple could develop an "eyeglass fitting protocol" to take advantage of Face ID data to facilitate buying properly fitting glasses online while keeping Face ID data private?
They could use the depth data from front camera FaceID for this purpose, but might prefer if customers buy iPhone Pro with lidar on the rear camera, which can be used for 3D scans of humans, objects, rooms.
