Can Google Help?

My newsletter site recently started an affiliate program. We quickly got picked up by a few nefarious Facebook groups that specialize in scamming affiliate programs. They blasted out our link and we spent a few fun days banning them and getting them out of our system. Annoying, but not the end of the world.

We thought that was the end of it, but almost a month later, our domain reputation plummeted from "high" to "low". We submitted our case to google via the gsuite contact form, but nothing has changed. Our emails land in spam with a giant red "this site is a scam" warning.

We cannot be the first people this has happened to. Does anyone have any advice, or happen to know the right people at Google that can whitelist us?
