Which book your reading and why?(Non-fiction Only)

I packed three books in my bag today: (1) A Poul Anderson book which is sci-fi so it doesn’t count, (2) https://www.theguardian.com/books/2023/nov/03/how-migration-... and (3) a book on Chinese grammar which was my main reading for a while before I burned out on it and went on a Poul Anderson binge instead.

Recent reads: Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck East of Eden by John Steinbeck Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro AntiFragile by Nassim Taleb (an almost annual re-read)

When I read fiction, I go as far away from modern tech or sci-fi as possible, for balance. I hate sci-fi.
