Best Software Finders

Question

Do you guys have any recs for tools that allow you to find other software (with natural language would be great)? Ideally, it should shortlist possible tools and give me the cheapest, most functional gem that I'm looking for. A couple potential ones I know of are producthunt and theresanaiforthat.com. The issues with those are the overload of mostly junk results and just inaccurate search when long form natural language text is involved.

Three approaches for me.1. Search topic / users, identify their online conversation areas, read/search for feedback on best topic.2. Search google for "software topic" + " " + "Reddit"3. Search hacker news#2 and #3 tend to be subs of #1, but not always. Often different grades of discussion across all three.
