RSS podcast alternateEnclosure Support
A quick poll: those of you that consume podcasts ... can your player see/use the alternateEnclosure entries that I have lovingly added to https://www.earth.org.uk/rss/podcast.rss ? There are support stats out there, but I don't think that I believe them currently!
My client at least used the mp3 file. But other than the url to the site was nothing else.
alternateEnclosure is supported by PodcastAddict, PodLP, TrueFans, and a few more out of the gate. It's a comparatively new tag, but one that will be quite interesting once more podcast apps begin using it.
