Leads for digitizing large analog video collections? (NYC art/music)

I work for a NYC-based videographer who has a large analog video archive with great footage. I’m talking unseen music performances at CBGBs and Max’s Kansas City, and interviews with famous artists of the NYC art world (which was arguably at its heyday in the 1980s.) We’re looking for someone who can help us digitize this and it occurred to me that HN might have some great leads on this.

We have a collection of about 1,500 individual tapes that spans nearly every single analog video medium from reel to reel to mini dv. I’d approximate that we’ve only digitized maybe 5-10% on our own. We’ve been in contact with a few people who are interested, and even got pretty far into talks with the Getty museum, but that had to be put on hold for a bit. Please let me know if you know of anything. We are interested in retaining the rights, but any leads would be appreciated.

For any that want to take a deeper look, we’ve created a preliminary spreadsheet that shows what we have in our collection: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1tGGBTLnxIty63D-L...
