How many RSS feeds do you subscribe to?

I've recently started collecting RSS feeds, and according to Tiny Tiny RSS, I have 177 feeds so far (mostly small tech blogs). How many feeds do you read, and what topics do you tend to subscribe to?

Around 100 ATM, and counting as I am moving my email newsletters over to RSS where possible. All sorts of topics, but luckily I can sort them into folders according to priority.

Some folders I follow with devotion (niche tech things where I want to keep tabs, environment and health, media scrutiny blogs). Others, (like MSM) I follow with half an eye.

193: developer blogs, photography blogs, GitHub releases, YouTube channels, a few monitored keywords (like the "RSS" keyword that got me to this very thread ;) )

Currently I have 108 in Inoreader, but there's about 20 that need to be taken out or fixed because they're dead/erroring out. Of those, I only check about 10 semi-regularly.

I need to go through and prune the others and organize them by topic. I'll soon add in feeds for various YouTube channels I want to keep updated on without checking the unreliable and tedious Subscriptions feed on YouTube.

The main feeds I've been checking over past months are related to publishing and self publishing, software development, services I like, games I'm interested in, VR developments, and creators I enjoy.

Most of them are comics(around 100), then around 20 different tech sites, a few feeds of software that i use, a few blogs and around 30 youtube channels.

Currently at 85 feeds in my self-hosted FreshRSS instance. There's probably about 10% that are inactive (I was using nitter's RSS feature for some twitter accounts). Mostly tech sites/blogs, quite a few webcomics, and some YouTube channels (I don't log into YouTube all that often).

6, all small indie blogs. Some of them about a specific interest, but a few that are just folk making simple observations - each one just as interesting to me. I could definitely do with following more.

36. Many of them are inactive and I should clear them out. Just got rid of F1 because I watch on catch up and I was fearful it might have spoilers - season starts this weekend.

I currently have 533 healthy feeds, 20 unhealthy feeds.

However the vast majority of these are low-volume, many are probably dead (even the ones not explicitly unhealthy).

I get roughly 1k new entries a month.

Can some of you provide some good ones? I'm always curious what other people are subscribing to.

Around 50. Technology, News, Reddit, Hacker News, YouTube, and some random stuff I find interesting (car, bikes).

Less than 20. Most mirror the chapters of manga I like, and some are blogs I regularly find interesting.

👤 menshiki
Around 40. Most are tech news and tech blogs.

👤 smcleod
Around 55~

Zero.

Like most people.

Good luck.
