eBay UK account sudden permanent suspension and refused to remove data

I use eBay to search for used computers and I never sell anything or really buying anything, however just now I was told the account has been permanently suspended. Without telling what is the reason, called the agent they do not tell any information, asked to use GDPR to remove my account and they refused! I mean does it legal to do so?
