Why is no one using Zapier?

hello! i have a question that's been bugging me for a hot sec and thought hn might knowwhy is no one using zapier? everyone i talk to says that they have at least one very important task to automate, and when i ask why they don't use zapier, everyone says idki understand from an intuitive place that zapier is not good ux, which begs the question what would you like your ideal automation software to look like?is it no-code? is it low-code? is it fully code? something else entirely?

It seems to be a very well kept secret that you can write scripts in Python and other languages to do what Zapier does very easily.That is, Zapier doesn't make anything easier, it actually makes things harder and now you have a bill. If your favorite thing to do is talk to salespeople it might make your life a little more meaningful but there's no real need for it.

config. if the problem is solved, at a reasonable price, you shouldn&rsquo;t need anything else. if the problem isn&rsquo;t solved, that&rsquo;s a fundamentally different question. (solved-but-too-expensive is just trading problems.)as for zapier, it is expensive for what it is. anyone that knows it, doesn&rsquo;t want to use it. not everyone that doesn&rsquo;t know it should be using it.
