Are there any cameras with a non-square pixel matrix?
I want to have such a camera which can be mounted in the middle of airplane propeller and still be able to provide a decent picture despite of high RPM. I suppose the pixels have to be placed in such a manner as an information which is written in HDD plate. I do not know how to describe that shape but bits on HDD probably has the shape which is needed for pixels of rotating camera.
Any works in this direction?
I think the best you could do is a camera with a slit shutter, like a finish-line camera, oriented in the direction of motion.
