New iPhone. On a trip. Never used Facebook, but I had to to interact with the pages of some local shops. I create an account with a random name.
Blocked within an hour. FB wants me to upload a video of myself. No luck Zuck.
I guessed it was because of the discrepancy between my phone number and the location and shrugged and deleted the FB app.
A few days later, I installed FB again. My previous account was visible as soon as I open the app. Wth? Same in the FB Messenger and Instagram.
I deleted them all. Cleared the browsing cache and everything from iOS settings. Reinstalled FB. The saved login is still there.
And since Google Search sucks now too and doesn’t care about the exact phrase, it just shows me results for how to remove saved logins from WITHIN the FB app itself.
No. I want to know WHERE Facebook stores that information so I can delete it WITHOUT using the FB app. And WHY does Apple even allow this kind of crap despite being so gung ho about privacy??
