Am I the only one who seems to notice this trend, where most programming languages seem to "get inspiration" from other languages and in some way, almost all languages converge into the same language.
I was a Python dev for 10+ years, but now I lean more toward Go since the language offers just too many abstractions and thus too many ways to shoot yourself in the foot.
It seems to be the same that happened to C++, and it didn't end so well.

Definitely seems to be the case with Python. It just keeps adding features and doesn't resmble the nimble origins
