I am interested in knowing how do you guys manage your communities, non-profit organizations, student organizations etc. What kind of tools do you use for what kind of functions?
I don't know how to answer such a broad question.
I've helped manage or create a bunch of such, up to as formal as being a vice-chair of school governing board. There is no magic tool or tools. Keeping candid communication flowing and making formal accurate records of things to do with money for example, seem key.
