Do you think prompt writing for AI models will stay?

I am wondering if I should continue working on this skill set. Although I am enjoying learning how to write better prompts and it is giving me better results, should I continue going deeper into it?

I was thinking about how one may come up with a different interface soon to speak with AI making it redundant.

What do you guys think?
