Does Reddit monitor IP address and provide content

Hello, The strangest thing has started happening on reddit. I have an account but 99% of the time I browse not logged in to enjoy random content. But recently its been spamming me with subreddits I would never go to and have never gone to. One or two posts in a feed would be fine browsing r/home but this is getting bad. 20 or 30 of the some subreddits that I do not interact with at all.

I live in a duplex and share the internet with everyone. I'm wondering if someone in the house is on those subreddits so its spamming me with them too?
