Programming languages/tooling seems to have been forgotten for many years.

The only bold and new things never seemed to take off and were quickly forgotten.

However, in the last few years, there have been many interesting developments, and it is accelerating.

* JavaScript is getting Bun, and a lot of things are happening in the Node/Deno space as well
