Would like to know what was done right which allowed all to survive

So thankful and it was indeed against odds that everyone in the passenger plane evacuated quickly and safely. What did they do right? Any safety or emergency experts have any insights?

The captain on that flight

has said that he can't take credit for any special heroism but rather pilots are trained over and over again to do the right thing, both out of habit and by following checklists. When something like that happens everybody at the airport and in air traffic control drops what they are doing and will do anything they can to help.
