Have you landed a job from Twitter/X?

Just curious if anyone has stories about positive one-on-one exchanges and connections that have led to contract gigs or full-time employment?

&Agrave; long time ago (~2013) I managed to land an interview after someone saw my geeky ramblings on early Twitter. Nothing came out of it but early Twitter was more open to that sort of interactions even if you didn't have tnousands of followers.

Just applied, doubt I'd actually get hired though. I've failed the interview process at both Amazon and Facebook.Got an email from Google which later turned into "we changed our minds, no interview for you".

Yes, I dm&rsquo;d Erik, the founder of Modal Labs, asking what I had to do to get a job there, and a few months later I had an offer. I was before that message unknown to Erik, working at Canva in Sydney, but the internet had told me you&rsquo;ve got to put yourself out there, take your shot :)
